Cancellation Policy and Refund
If we cannot arrange visas or for some reason it is not possible to travel to the DPRK at the specified time (or you cannot make rescheduled dates) a full refund will be made*. If the tourist cancels themselves the charges laid out in the table below apply.
* The participant is responsible for providing us with all the accurate information that we require for the visa application process. Participants whose visa application is rejected because of inaccurate information will be subjected to a 50% cancellation charge on the deposit paid.
Note that with all refunds we will not be held liable for any bank charges.
No. of weeks before tour departs and % of cost to be paid as cancellation fee:
< 1 week 100%
< 2 weeks 70%
< 6 weeks 40%
< 8 weeks 10%
Please note that once we have confirmed receipt of your tour application form it becomes a confirmed booking and from that moment all charges apply. If you do not intend to go ahead with the trip then you must inform us at least 8 weeks ahead of departure or you will be subject to relevant cancellation fees.
Each trip requires a mimimum of 16 participants (unless otherwise stated). If the minimum number is not reached, the cost of the trip may be reviewed, or the trip may be cancelled, and participants will be asked if they wish to join another trip, or a refund will be made (with bank charges borne by the participant).
